Because Stanton DeFreitas was able to experience and witness a wide variety of cultures as he was growing up, he has come to understand that everyone, wherever they come from, is a citizen of the world, not just a citizen of the country they call home. He has a fervent belief that everyone should try to broaden their horizons in every way possible, including culturally, but also academically and spiritually. It is with that approach that Stanton DeFreitas tries to use his global business travels to become more than an entrepreneur. He thinks of himself as something of a diplomat, bringing various cultures together.

That is one reason Stanton DeFreitas wants to become a writer. He feels that he can begin discussions about many issues he believes are most important to society. Among the subjects he wants to write about include far more than just global current events, which are very important, but not the only thing. He also wants to write about international travel and international sporting events, as well as about personal health and wellness. Put simply, he wants to bring different people together because we’re better off that way.
